Summary
Funny, engaging, and whimsical, Youkan Reading decodable books help assure children with dyslexia, or children who need decoding support, that reading is achievable and enjoyable. Series 2 continues from Series 1 with five more humorous decodable stories. Many of the beloved characters from Series 1 appear in Series 2, and a few new characters get themselves into a bit of trouble. As in Series 1, all stories are illustrated with humor and wit that students find engaging and fun to read. Youkan Reading Decodable Books are suited for early elementary students with dyslexia, and for students who benefit from additional decoding practice. The stories follow a clear scope and sequence of closed syllable, one syllable words, and are meant to supplement and support a student's day-to-day Orton-Gillingham based reading intervention program
